Welcome to my Project 365! Please join me as I document, through photos, each day of this year, from January 22, 2010, my 39th birthday, culminating on January 22, 2011. Yes, the day I turn 40! This blog is my photojournal of my journey through the 39th year of my life ... the last year of my thirties. Along the way I hope to continue to grow my love of photography and immerse myself even further in to this beloved hobby. I intend to learn all I can, both about my cameras and equipment, and about taking great pictures. Most of all, I intend to enjoy the process! I hope you will follow along, and please comment! Your feedback will help me to learn and grow!

This is my first attempt at bokeh using my new lens. I will be posting a few of the other shots I took over at my other blog if you want to check them out. I think I am going to really enjoy this!

  1. Very cool...I hate doing laundry...I am doing it today as well...put it off till the last minute! LOL

  2. Never heard that term bokeh before now...and I took a college level photography class...I love photography and hope to get a SLR in 2010...the good news is Keely has one already so I can play around with hers next month..I plan to take a gazillion shots of Easton while I'm up there visiting.

  3. This would make a great still life for your laundry room!

  4. Oh--do you read Ms. Boushay on the Pioneer Woman's blog? You've picked up the technique really great!!!!!

  5. I really like that, Kristen. I'd never heard of that term til PW had that photo contest. I think your pic turned out great!

  6. OK,I just learned what bokeh was, lol. The picture turned out great. Can't wait to compare it with pics a year from now when you'll be a PRO.

  7. I like Terri's idea!
Glad to see you are enjoying your new gift!

Photography is a growing passion of mine. Each day I strive to learn more about my cameras & equipment and about the process of taking great photos. I welcome and encourage your feedback! Your comments can only help me as I develop my photography skills. Thank you!!!
