:: A journey, in pictures, one day at a time, through the last year of my thirties ::
Welcome to my Project 365! Please join me as I document, through photos, each day of this year, from January 22, 2010, my 39th birthday, culminating on January 22, 2011. Yes, the day I turn 40! This blog is my photojournal of my journey through the 39th year of my life ... the last year of my thirties. Along the way I hope to continue to grow my love of photography and immerse myself even further in to this beloved hobby. I intend to learn all I can, both about my cameras and equipment, and about taking great pictures. Most of all, I intend to enjoy the process! I hope you will follow along, and please comment! Your feedback will help me to learn and grow!
First visit to your blog. Cool concept. I also checked out your husband's blog because I am also an avid Boston sports fan, mostly Patriots and Bruins.
Lastly, thanks for finding my blog and becoming a follower.
Photography is a growing passion of mine. Each day I strive to learn more about my cameras & equipment and about the process of taking great photos. I welcome and encourage your feedback! Your comments can only help me as I develop my photography skills. Thank you!!!

:: a note ::
The images I am posting on this blog were all taken by me. I am an amateur in the strictest sense of the word. This blog is as much about learning and growing in this craft as it is about documenting this year from 39 to 40. All of the images I post are straight out of my camera. I do not own Photoshop software nor do I know how to use it. This is photography in its purest form, untouched and not manipulated at all. As such these images will never be perfect. Perfection is not what I strive for. Doing my own personal best with what I have to work with and hopefully some God-given talent is my version of perfect, and that is good enough for me!
I know it seems like I reach for my point & shoot camera most often. To be honest, during the week after working all day I am not up to fiddling around with settings and such. I prefer to do that when I have good chunks of time to devote to my dSLR. So it will be the weekends where I will be using the "good" camera and doing the most experimenting. The four days of the week I work it is just all about documenting each day in photos...no matter what I use to capture them!
Yummy!:)
